Distance Between Friends: m.i.a.

About us...

We've been best friends for 23 years, 19 of which we've lived in different cities. We're always complaining about how much better life would be if we lived in the same city. We could shop together, get together for girls nights, motivate eachother to eat right and exercise...the list goes on. There's not a whole lot we can do about the shopping and girls nights, but we recently realized that we could still motivate eachother...through blogging!

We've set a goal to run/walk/move our rear ends the distance between our front doors over the course of the next year. That's 532.5 miles. That means we'll have to average 10.24 miles a week.

m.i.a.

yes, i know i've been m.i.a on the blog lately...with good reason! all four of us have been sick! yes....ALL four! that includes me....the mama! now, it's not pretty when the mama gets sick...especially when everyone else is sick...because everyone wants the mama, especially when they are sick! no good! i had strep. today was the first day since monday i have felt good at all. took the kids to the park, was going to walk there, but decided to drive in case i started feeling crummy again. back on the wagon again tomorrow!
